Court Extends Funny Face Stay At The Psychiatric Hospital

Court has extended Funny Face stay at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital following Doctors statement to the court.

The Ofaakor Circuit Court presided over by Ebenezer Osei Darko, had about some weeks ago, by order of the court, taken the Comedian to the Psychiatric Hospital following his shooting incidents.

Funny Face was asked to stay at the Psychiatric Hospital for the next two weeks to seek psychological treatment, following the depressive disorder he found himself.

Hence, his time at the hospital was due and Funny Face tried seeking Court clearance for him to be discharged from the hospital.

But unfortunately for him, his stay at the Hospital has been extended after medical reports submitted by doctors to the court suggested that their patient’s days in the hospital needed extension, indicating that the actor is still having troubles articulating his thought among others.

The medical report again disclosed that Funny Face has been put on strict treatment that requires enough rest, adding, the court must increase the number of days he should spend in hospital.

The Court presided over by Ebenezer Osei Darko has approved to the extension of Funny Face’s stay at the Accra Psychiatric hospital.

The case has been adjourned to 11 April 2021.

Funny Face was prosecuted by the court after he allegedly displayed a gun in public during a chaotic argument with a bar owner in Kasoa.

The Police followed up to arrest the Comedian and maltreated him during his stay in police custody.
